Quarries

TEDCO is the owner of five working natural stone quarries, each with huge deposit at different part of the country as below:

1-Makou Travertine Quarry

This quarry is located in Makou city near to Iran and Turkey border. This quarry  produces White and Cream Travertine in good quality and dimension.

2-Islam Abad Limestone Quarry

Islam Abad limestone quarry is located near the Islam Abad in the Kermanshah province. This quarry is near the airport, because of this specification, it is known as Airport quarry. This quarry produces Limestone in two types, which one of them is entirely plain and another one is flowery. Those two stones in markets are known as Light Gohareh.

3-Simakan Marble Quarry

Simakan marble quarry is located near the Dehbid in the Fars province. This quarry produces cream marble in variation of colors. Simak Botticino is the name of this quarry's marble.

4-Khoor Marble Quarry

Khoor marble quarry is located near the Khoor & Biyabanak in the Isfahan province.This quarry produces cream marble with red veins. The name of this marble is Arya Filetto Rosso which very similar to Italian Filetto Rosso.

5-Mahabad Cream Marble Quarry

Mahabad cream  marble quarry is located in Kordestan province. This quarry produces cream marble in variation of colors and is similar to Filetto Rosso.
